Kurt’s start in investing wasn’t glamorous. His first project was a flip that made no money!
That didn’t deter him, however. Some years later, with the right partners, Kurt decided to go full-time. His decision coincided with the beginning of the COVID-crisis, and Kurt had a hard time finding deals where the numbers made sense in his home-market in Greater Toronto.
Kurt decided to target a secondary market , which he studied from a distance. A true numbers wack, Kurt now closes on properties almost without seeing them! In this interview, he tells us about the value of market research and the importance of having a great power-team when investing away from your home market.
